Pretty...Please...?

Can we have a sleep-over...pretty please?
Here's my son and his friend Anika asking for a sleep-over. Just can't resist capturing their expressions. Who could resist this two when they begging like this? Anyways, this ended with a no sleep-over that night. Had to promise them a sleep-over the following week. Just love this two!

Chocolate Covered Baby, Anyone?

My chocolate covered little boy, Cian.

When you have a 2-year old little boy and then you notice that the house seems uncanningly quiet, and you know they're not sleeping, you better check them out. You might end up finding him just like my son. Chocolate covered! Of course, don't forget to take a few photos of them before you get all hyped up and decide to dump him in a bath without those precious moments captured on camera.
I've been wanting to do something with all the photos of flowers that I captured myself on camera. And then sometime last April, a friend of mine posted the cute little poem on his Facebook page. I liked it so much and decided to use it to create an art out of my flower photos. I asked his permission to use his poem and so kindly allowed me to use it. Thank you bestfriend. .

Finally, I can renew my expired visa. This time it's on my own entity. I had to send them loads of documents and rock my convoluted brain to compose a letter of blah blah blah. And with the help of my good friend ( thank you Stephnie ), who so kindly edited the letter for me, managed to complete all the requirements and send it to the immigration office in due time.

Now, all I need to do is go to the immigration office tomorrow to get the new visa and the GARDA Card. And here's hoping that there will be less people there queueing for visa as well. I will only be given one year visa and will be renewed after the expiration date. But hey, I'm not complaining. Just happy to be given a visa. Thank goodness.

A Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can. And wisdom to know the difference.

A Dinner Treat

My very good friend Sweet Grace Tami prepared a 4 course dinner for me the last time we visited her house. I was deeply touched by the gesture so here I am now showing my deepest appreciation by posting a blog as my way of saying thank you. Although we missed one friend Sheila, who had chicken pox at the time, we still enjoyed the time together. Hopefully, on our next meet up, our friend Sheila can join us.

( Above )A lovely velvet cake she made herself. ( Below) The pasta that's Oh So Yummy!

What I did on Valentines Day.

First stop, after dropping Francis off to school, was a visit to Kilmainham Gaol with my friend Maricel Vacas. I believe she's making it her mission to visit as many tourist places as she can before her family moves to Spain for good. Kilmainham Gaol is one of the largest unoccupied gaols in Europe.

I've been in this place before with my sister JM just days after I gave birth to my eldest son. This time, I was with my second son Cian, who at the age of 2, is definitely not good idea to bring to a museum. Anyways, we decided to go ahead and join the tour and planned to excuse ourselves from the tour if and when Cian decides to tour the museum on his own or become the tour guide himself which true to form is what Cian did.

Eventually decided to excuse ourself from the tour and wait for my friend outside the museum.

When my friend came out, we decided to visit the gardens of a nearby tourist place. The Royal Hospital Kilmainham. We only had time to visit the gardens and planned to visit the museum some other time. And here's a few pics to share.
